link: How About the IDPA? IDPA Membership Applications are available here: IDPA Membership Info & Application Richmond Rod & Gun Club started running IDPA matches in 2001. In 2007 we will run a match with between 6 and 10 stages every other month. Match registration is open from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. If you are a new competitor to IDPA, you MUST arrive and sign-in BEFORE 9:30AM for the 'New Shooter Orientation' and 'Holster Qualification'. Stage walkthrough is at 9:45 AM with the first shots down range shortly after. Richmond IDPA shoots all year and in all weather conditions. We will run the IDPA classification course periodically throughout the year, please check the calendar for schedule information. More information about the club can be found here
